On the principle that any moth is better than no moth, I managed to photograph these two crambid micros around the warehouse today. The Crambidae are an extensive family of similar species generally termed grass moths. I thought the black dots and white wing fringes of the top one might give a clue, but in fact they don’t even narrow it down to genus level, let alone species. The bottom, white one is a bit easier – I think it is probably Crambus perlella.
