Chalkhill Blue is a musical project that combines two strands in the life of a multi-instrumentalist & amateur naturalist based in Kent in the U.K.
Both ambiently atmospheric and musically progressive, little is planned or composed beforehand – the music draws its inspiration from the natural world and grows organically during the time spent at the keyboard & guitar, covering all musical styles from rock to folk to classical. If you love all kinds of music and are enthralled by the majesty and grandeur of nature, then you might just love Ambient Progressive!
In fact, you might just love
Chalkhill Blue!

The Classic Rock Society was formed in 1991 with aim of supporting classic rock & prog. We put on gigs by up-and-coming new bands and publicise new work by new and old bands alike. Our two-monthly magazine 'Rock Society' can be bought on-line and at gigs. Patrons include Steve Hackett (our most active patron), Bob Harris, Dave Cousins, Dave Pegg and Carl Palmer. The main annual event is our ‘Best Of The Year’ awards, at Wath-Upon-Dearne (near Rotherham). Keep up to date with Chalkhill Blue's involvement with the society on the 'News' page. Feature articles, rock star interviews and gig and album reviews!
